Thanks for using decluttr!

The project started as a hobby back in 2007, and it has continued to grow over the past five years. To date, Flickr users have linked almost 100,000 images to the decluttr.com website.

When Flickr changed their website layout last year (implementing their own on-black/zoom functionality), traffic and links to the decluttr.com website decreased dramatically. I fully expected usage of the site to dwindle to nothing. Traffic has remained lower, but surprisingly steady, and I still personally enjoy using the decluttr.com website daily.

Over the years, I have received a few complaints, suggestions and customization requests via the decluttr Flickr group. I have done my best to accommodate these requests in the interest of providing a *free* resource for the public to use. I have also kept the code in line with any Flickr API changes so that people can continue to enjoy the site with minimal interruption. However, this is not a paid service. There are no fees, conditions, disclaimers, or guarantees.

In an effort to offset some of the costs associated with maintaining and hosting the decluttr.com website, I have recently started testing the effectiveness of text advertising *accepting donations*.
