Jin Akanishi - Japonicana

In December 2010, Jin Akanishi signed a global deal with Warner Music Group. Documenting his US debut journey, Akanishi released the first of six episodes of his web series, the Takeover, on October 27 and has amassed over 3.5M online views for the entire series. On November 8, 2011, Jin Akanishi's U.S. debut single "Test Drive featuring Jason Derelo" reached the #1 spot on the iTunes Dance Album Chart the day of it's release. In the single's release in Japan, it peaked at number 14 on the Japan Hot 100, while the EP debuted at #1. Akanishi released his second single "Sun Burns Down" on January 26th. It reached the #1 spot on iTunes Dance Album Chart again, which was his second continuous #1 spot on the iTunes Dance Album Chart. Jin will release his debut album titled "JAPONICANA" on March 6th. His debut U.S. album will have tracks produced by Static Revenger, Stereoypes as well as Jin himself.
