The first thing you need to do is check what model of iPad you’re selling. The easiest way to do this is to refer to the original packaging or the receipt from when you purchased it, but you can also find out by following these steps:

1. Open Settings on your iPad
2. Select General
3. Select About

You’ll need to check the cosmetic condition of your iPad as well. We offer three different conditions to choose from - Excellent, Good or Poor. You’ll find a full description of each when you select your model, so make sure to check your device carefully and pick the most accurate condition.

Before shipping your iPad, you’ll need to erase all of your data and remove your iCloud account. Here’s how to do that:

1. Unpair your iPad from other Apple devices such as your Apple Watch or iPhone.
2. Back up your device via iCloud or your computer.
3. Sign out of iCloud, App Store and iTunes.
4. Go to:
• Settings
• General
• Reset
• Erase all Content and Settings
5. Turn off and unregister iMessage if you’re moving to an Android tablet.
6. Remove your iPad from your list of trusted devices.
